Daily Nagios Report (Visit this link)
from 0 votesDo you need to send a daily report to your executives of every host that has been down since midnight? If so then do not look any further.
This is revision 1 of this script. This script will be changing quite often in the next few weeks as I want this report to not just be a daily report but as well as a weekly or monthly or even just pass a set of time frames.
to run this script is as simple as running python nagios_report.py. You just need to make sure that you have the right location of nagios.log in the script and you will be ready to roll. what I usually do is run this script then in cron 30 minutes later I, mail them the output of the file in the body of the message.
